Position: Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary
Apex Cargo Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily freight activities, monitoring shipments, and ensuring cargo is transported safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments from pickup to final delivery.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure on-time transportation.
- Communicate with carriers, clients, and warehouse teams regarding shipment updates.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents and transportation records.
- Coordinate with customs and logistics partners when required.
- Resolve transportation delays and operational issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and logistics reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Support daily logistics planning and operational activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the shipping process.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding and transportation processes is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach.
