Position: Operations Executive
Job Summary
Apex Cargo Solutions is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to support daily logistics and freight operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate shipments, monitor operational activities, and work closely with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure cargo is transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily freight and logistics operations.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and logistics partners.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports and shipment records.
- Coordinate with warehouse, customs, and transportation teams.
- Resolve operational issues and shipment delays efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Track shipment progress and provide regular customer updates.
- Assist in improving operational efficiency and workflow.
- Support the operations team with day-to-day logistics activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
