Position: Freight Forwarding Executive
Job Summary
Apex Cargo Solutions is looking for a proactive and experienced Freight Forwarding Executive to manage international freight operations across air, sea, and road transportation. The successful candidate will coordinate shipments, prepare shipping documentation, and ensure efficient cargo movement while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export freight shipments.
- Book cargo with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers.
- Prepare freight documentation and shipping instructions.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Resolve shipment delays and operational issues.
- Build strong relationships with carriers and clients.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and operational reports.
- Support continuous improvement in freight operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
- Previous freight forwarding experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
